Hi Kenneth, thank you for your kind words about my work! I use the ink pencils like watercolor, mixing them with water on a palette first, then painting the color on. I have more control this way and they don't draw directly on the scratchboard very well anyway. Liquid inks, watercolor, or even thinned acrylics can be used to color scratchboards.

I totally enjoyed viewing your great scratchboard drawings and can appreciate the effort put into them. They are wonderful. question though, do you prefer ink pencil to colored ink with brush on your colored versions? Thanks, I am new to FAA.
